In 1985 I began a study of color and motion using water as my canvas. Over the next several months I photographed ponds and swimming pools. I worked with the water’s surfaces, using their reflections and the incident light to explore a new visual world. A world where the landscape has no horizon lines, only layers of light and color creating spaces that are ever-changing.
